Splats is a rabbit-based classic badnik created by Dr. Ivo Robotnik. He originally served Robotnik's army, until he was deemed obsolete and replaced by more effective forces.
History
Dr. Ivo Robotnik's Tyranny
First Adventures
Splats would eventually attend Robotnik's presentation in Renobotnik where the doctor unveiled his latest Classic Badnik: Orbinaut. Later, he completed in the Robotropolis Olympic Games' long jump event against Antoine D'Coolette, whom he easily beat. A while afterward, Splats came to Robotnik Haul to witness the wedding between Robotnik and a sorceress. However, when Robotnik got humiliated by an invisible force, Splats was ordered to destroy the sorceress, only for her to escape. (StH: #1, #5, #7)
Some Splats were later summoned to Mobius Concert Hall to capture the Knothole Freedom Fighters. However, said group rendered the Splats harmless by shrinking them with Snively's reduction device, leaving the miniscule Badniks to return to Robotnik. (StH: #8)
Zone Hopping & New Faces
Splats was later mobilized alongside the rest of the Badnik Horde for Operation Wedding Bash Crash by Dr. Ivo Robotnik. For the operation, Splats attacked the apparent wedding ceremony for Sonic and Sally, which later turned out to be a play. (StH: #18)
Mecha Madness
Splats later appeared in Robo Hobo Jungle with the other outdated Badniks were Sonic came to arrest Nack the Weasel for his transformation to Mecha Sonic. Splats and the other Badniks came to kill Sonic but were easily defeated once again. (StH: #40)
The Eggman Empire
Family Meetings
Splats and the other Badniks were later transferred to the Island of Misfit Badniks were Sonic came to check it out were they captured him but he escaped and easily defeated them and then came face-to-face with Pseudo-Sonic and they were easily matched until they decided to finish it with a "Bighorn Challenge" that not only wrecked Pseudo Sonic but sank the island with the badniks faking the deaths. The Dark Egg Legion and King Scourge
Mogul Rising
Splats and the other Badniks later attacked the Forty Fathom Freedom Fighters who tried to stop their plans on rebuilding Pseudo Sonic. He took on Bottlenose before being defeated and was later waved by the gigantic Pseudo Sonic and later crushed into a cube by Fluke. (StH: #185)
Personality
As a classic badnik, Splats possesses a limited A.I. As far as personality goes though, he is both mean-spirited and arrogant. (StH; #1, CSE)
Abilities
Splats is equipped with a spring that allows him to make long jumps. Offensively, it can also be used to strike foes with extra force. (StH: #5, #40)

Origin
Splats is based on a scrapped badnik that was going to appear in the original Sonic the Hedgehog video game for the Sega Genesis.
